Breathe a bit of life into your go-to Dad gift. This beautiful tie made of a rich indigo dyed wool and has a slimmed down shape that will give a modern and fresh edge to a shirt and jacket. Not so skinny that it looks over stylized, and not so wide that it looks like you could fly it like a kite.
Next up is my personal favorite from this season. The design team at Apolis teamed up with a clothing fabricator based in Switzerland that does field testing in Antarctica, to bring you this amazing thermally insulated jacket. This is a perfect gift for adventurers, travelers and voyagers of all age and type.
The minimal aesthetic behind the design, the packable feature which allows for the entire jacket to pack snugly into the front pocket forming a travel pillow, and quality of production and materials makes this a perfect balance of form and function. So for the guy who wants to look sharp and stay warm this is perfect. And for the guy that prefers function over form, this jacket will exceed any and all expectations, while still giving an understated and quietly fashionable look.
Young California based designer Kyle Ng, brings us this beautifully made shirt from his line AXS Folk Technology. This shirt stems from a sort of outdoors tradition of flannel overshirts, designed to be a mid layer over a tee shirt and under a sweater or jacket. The flannel used in this shirt is super soft and full of tufts and heavy texture that gives a worn and rugged feel, while offering a soft touch. The buttons are horn and the fit is straight and slightly fitted, to give more room for a better range of motion.
This is an ideal gift for the guy that surfs, camps, bikes, and is active and might need a light layer for an outdoor adventure. Stylish but not trendy, this is a classic fit, and classic cut, with a beautiful bright color.
From our favorite Paris based design studio, this sweater is an essential addition to a fashionable, current wardrobe. The beautiful melange of white, black and grey, look a bit like tv static, or a foggy day in the city.
This sweater has a slim fit and is a dense weave of 100% cotton.
This house slipper is perfect for those that enjoy a rainy Sunday being lazy around the house in a comfy pair of sweats watching movies and sipping wine. A charming and playful design, but made with high quality felted wool.
Ficouture has a simple and easy to agree with philosophy which drives the design and function of the brand.
"Making your daily life happier, one step at a time".
Henrik Vibskov is a Musician, Artist, and Fashion designer, based out of Denmark. Much of his clothing carries his recognizable high impact graphic designs and patterns. His socks are a staple piece to have in any wardrobe that desires a bit of playfulness. I have never met a single guy who couldn't use another pair of socks, and these socks are of a high quality construction with a silhouette that fits the shape of a foot, and they don't fall down and get scrunchy around the ankle.
Already one of our top seller's the Hobo planner/diary is hands down the absolute best planner. Coming from one of our favorite Japanese boutiques, Arts & Science, the design of this journal is flawless. The binding is done beautifully with sewn signatures that lay down flat with ease. Perfect off white colored paper and clean beautiful lines, the Patrick Bateman in your life will appreciate the quality.
This is a great gift for the environmental and socio ethics conscience guy. Industry of All Nations uses traditional methods of garment dying and production in India to achieve the most beautiful simple garments, while making a positive impact on communities of garment makers, as well as making a smaller environmental footprint through the use of traditional natural dyes and processes.
The soft blue hue of this shirt comes from two dips in an indigo bath, with the stripes coming from Batik, which is a resist dyeing method, using hot wax dripped on the cloth before being dipped to create contrast. The wax is removed with hot water and the shirts hung to dry in the sun. This process makes the cotton feel perfectly worn and soft, and the natural dye ensures that the shirt will age well and look better and better over time.
The fit is a relaxed slim fit, suitable for lounging on the beach, hiking through the woods, or stroll to the park.
R.T.CO had it's beginnings as a skate lifestyle brand, but really started to shine with it's sunglasses. These shades are made of the highest quality acetate, with Carl Zeiss optical lenses, in a small Italian factory in small batches using traditional methods. They are not mass produced in one mega factory, as are the majority of the sunglasses offered by various high end brands. Instead, each season the owner and designer, who is a young man based out of Berlin, chooses which classic acetates, hinges, and colors will be used for the small batch that is produced.
The Sparrow, is a very classic shape that has been simplified down to the essentials. Beautiful simple curves, not too bulky frame, and the signature diamond hardware on the barrel hinges ensure that these glasses will be in style season after season.
This is a simple classic shape great for the guy with a more refined sense of style.
Samsoe's wool sweatshirt is a slimmed down take on your typically bulky and heavy knit sweaters. The cut of this garment follows the pattern of what is usually a loop terry, or jersey material, but instead uses wool to elevate what is otherwise a very basic article of clothing.
This is an excellent wardrobe piece for the guy that doesn't like to get too dressed up, and is not really into sweaters and that sort of thing. The cut and shape of this is just like a typical lazy day sweatshirt and is just as comfortable, but the beautiful wool it is composed of makes it suitable to wear to the office or dinner with the in-laws. Navy blue is the best selling color of any garment we carry. Tried and true, navy blue will do.
