A 90-year-old Honduran tailoring cooperative meticulously crafts each shirt from a Japanese-milled, jacquard weave 100% cotton. This garment was hand-dyed in Los Angeles using a natural indigo process. Each pieces is dipped multiple times to obtain a deep blue color.
The indigo-dyed fabric will wear according to use, lightening in color as it is exposed to the elements. Because it is a natural dye, the color can transfer to other fabrics and surfaces.
The crocking process will diminish with time & laundering. *Irregular coloring is the nature of this hand-dyed indigo item.
