Revolver Gallery is very pleased to present the first San Francisco solo exhibition by artist Dennis Hoekstra. “An Alias and a Taste for Togetherness” is comprised of sculptures, paintings, and unique prints. Across these media, Hoekstra investigates textures and materials that denote social class, urban decay, time, and generational modifications.

Dennis Hoekstra (b. Los Angeles, 1980) lives and works in New York and will be present for the opening. Most recently, Hoekstra worked for Justin Lowe and Jonah Freeman on “Black Acid Co-op” at Deitch Projects in New York and is currently working on an upcoming installation for Justin Lowe.  

“An Alias and a Taste for Togetherness” featuring Dennis Hoekstra will be on view at Revolver Gallery (136 Fillmore St, San Francisco) through May 26.
